Chris Hutter (Hutmo) announces Christmas Sax-O-Thon

We hope to inspire you to share your gift of music with others while helping those who need our assistance. On the weekends of December 5th, and December 12th, members of the online forum Sax On The Web will share their gift in the first Sax-O-Thon.

Across the United States, saxophone enthusiast, both professional amateur alike will hit the streets with their saxes in hand and an open case at their feet. Their assignment will be to serenade the masses with holiday music to raise funds. The funds will go towards providing new or nearly new saxophones for talented student musicians from families who are struggling to purchase a quality saxophones for their children.

SaxOnline is off to a great start. Our success is dependent on the saxophone community. In order to create a good representative database of all the available saxophones and models available, we can't rely on one or two people to provide the information. We invite all saxophonists to join us, and post pictures of your horns to the Sax Gallery, there is room here for everyone.

Post your favorite saxophone related links in our Web Links section, and if you are inclined and have some background information on saxophones, or saxophone manufacturers, why not submit a content page, which we will classify and link to appropriate representative pictures when they become available.

SaxOnline Goes Live

The SaxOnline.info site has gone live, and you have found it. Our vision is to become the largest resource on the web for researching saxophones by manufacturer and model. Our Sax Gallery will be fed by the expanding membership, and our goal is to build a repository representative of virtually every type of saxophone ever manufactured.

The SaxOnline team is an offshoot of Sax On The Web (www.saxontheweb.net) the largest saxophone community in the world. SOL is meant as a complimentary reference resource, and you can contribute.
